Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts in San Jose, CA is seeking an experienced LVN or RN Clinical Instructor for our Vocational Nursing Program at the San Jose campus. The role is part-time and involves teaching in clinical settings and collaborating with didactic faculty.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Campus Director and Nursing Program Coordinator, staying current with medical education standards, and supporting the program's aims while maintaining quality student outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN licensed.
• Bachelor’s degree (BSN) or ASN/ADN in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Minimum 3 years’ RN or LVN experience with BSN or 6 years with ADN/ASN

• Teach assigned classes in a Clinical setting for our Vocational Nursing program.
• Meet with didactic and clinical faculty members to discuss program development.
• Support the Campus Director and Nursing Program Coordinator in the organization of the program and implementation of the program's standards.
• Maintain continuous knowledge of medical education and assure about the facilities continuous medical education requirements.

Gurnick Academy is a leading Bay Area private healthcare college offering an extensive variety of Nursing, Allied healthcare, and Imaging programs.

Gurnick Academy is seeking an experienced LVN or RN Clinical Instructor for our Vocational Nursing Program, San Jose, CA Campus.

Shift Availability

• 2 Part-Time Clinical Instructors (Mon–Tues, with a few Saturdays)
  • 1 AM Shift:6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • 1 PM Shift:2:30 PM – 11:30 PM
• 1 Part-Time Clinical Instructor (Thurs–Fri)
  • AM Shift:6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 2 Part-Time Clinical Instructors for Skills Lab (Thurs–Fri)
  • Shift:9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Hourly Pay Range: $39.00-$55.00

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Bachelors (BSN) or associate degree (ASN or ADN) in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of experience as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with an Associate’s degree.
