Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts in Concord, CA is seeking a Part-Time, Evening Nursing Didactic Instructor for the Vocational Nursing program at our Concord Campus. The role involves teaching didactic classes 5PM-10PM on Mon, Wed, and Fri, in-person at the campus, and collaborating with program leadership to maintain educational standards.

Qualified candidates are licensed RNs or LVNs with a BSN/ASN or ADN, and have 3 years (with BSN) or 6 years (with ADN/ASN) of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LVN with nursing degree and current licensure.
• Bachelor's or higher in Nursing; BSN preferred for teaching role.
• At least 3 years (with BSN) or 6 years (with ADN/ASN) clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic classes in-person for the Vocational Nursing program.

Gurnick Academy is currently seeking a Part-Time, Evening, Nursing Didactic Instructor for the Vocational Nursing program at our Concord Campus.

Job Type: Part-time, Evening: 5PM-10PM

Mondays: Anatomy and Physiology
Wednesdays: Nutrition
Fridays: Pharmacology, OB Simulation

Hourly Pay Range: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach assigned Didactic classes in-person at the Gurnick Campus for our Vocational Nursing program.
• Meet with didactic and clinical faculty members to discuss program development.
• Support the Campus Director and Nursing Program Coordinator in the organization of the program and implementation of the program's standards.
• Maintain continuous knowledge of medical education and assure about the facilities continuous medical education requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Bachelors (BSN) or associate degree (ASN or ADN) in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of experience as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with an Associate’s degree.
