Job summary

Vallen Distribution is seeking a Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Coordinator II to deliver and manage inventory at customer sites. You will handle storage, distribution and order fulfillment of merchandise and equipment to ensure timely deliveries and accurate shipments.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 4 years of warehouse or inventory experience. You’ll work on-site with a focus on accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction, with opportunities to advance within a

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 4 years' relevant experience or training in warehouse, inventory counting or delivery.
Valid driver's license that complies with company standards.
Willingness to learn and work on semi-routine assignments.
Must be a self-starter with the willingness to work with supervision.
Ability to understand and carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
Proactive and positive team approach to problem resolution.

Responsibilities

Drive company commercial vehicles to transport and deliver goods safely, in compliance with DOT standards.
Ensure accuracy of shipments to the customer.
Set up the VMI space and stock products at the customer site.
Follow orders from Vallen warehouse to delivery and setup at site.
Assist with customer spot buy orders as needed.
Maintain VMI areas and barcode labels for scanners.
