Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Coordinator I in Cincinnati, OH. You will deliver and manage inventory at customers’ sites, handling storage, distribution and order fulfillment of merchandise and equipment.

This role emphasizes accuracy from warehouse to customer site and collaboration with the sales team. Responsibilities include safe driving, coordinating with CSR and Account Reps, maintaining inventory thresholds, and supporting process improvements within VMI areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience or training in warehouse, inventory counting or delivery.
• Valid driver’s license per company standards.
• Willingness to learn and work on semi-routine assignments.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to deliver goods in a safe, compliant manner.
• Ensure shipment accuracy from Vallen warehouse to customer site.
• Assist with VMI space setup and stock placement at customer site.
• Follow customer orders from pickup to delivery and setup.
• Record spot buys and relay information to CSR or Account Rep.
• Maintain min/max and reorder points; report observations to management.
