Job summary

Join Vallen as a Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Coordinator I to deliver and manage inventory at customers’ sites. You will handle storage, distribution, and order fulfillment of merchandise, materials, and equipment while following DOT standards.

You will ensure shipment accuracy, set up customer receiving areas, and coordinate with sales teams. A high school diploma and 1 year related experience are required; a valid driver's license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage inventory at customers' sites in a VMI setup.
• Operate and ensure safe, compliant vehicle transport to designated locations.
• Ensure shipment accuracy and proper stock placement at customer sites.
• Follow customer orders from Vallen warehouse to delivery and setup.
• Support spot buys and relay information to CSR or Account Rep.
• Scan barcodes to generate customer orders.
• Maintain VMI point-of-use areas and update barcodes as needed.
• Support periodic inventory counts and observations with management.
