Job summary

Vallen USA is seeking a Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Coordinator I to deliver and manage inventory at customers' sites in Knightdale, NC. You will perform storage, distribution and order fulfillment of merchandise, parts, and supplies, ensuring accuracy and proper setup of VMI areas for optimal client operations.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of warehouse/inventory/delivery experience, a valid driver's license, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience or training in warehouse, inventory counting or delivery.
• Must have a valid driver's license and comply with company standards.
• Willingness to learn and work on semi-routine assignments.
• Self-starter with the ability to work with supervision.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
• Proactive and positive team player with customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to transport and deliver goods to designated locations safely and in compliance with DOT standards.
• Ensure accuracy of shipments to customers.
• Assist with VMI space/placement and stock products at customer sites.
• Follow orders from pickup to delivery and setup at customer sites.
• Handle spot buy orders and relay information to CSR or Account Rep.
• Scan barcodes to generate customer orders and manage VMI areas.
