Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Vitamin Manager to join our team in Richardson, TX. You will guide a busy Vitamin/HBA department, deliver excellent customer service, and help ensure product quality and compliance while coaching a dynamic team.

Responsibilities include staff leadership, inventory controls, merchandising, and collaborating to create an outstanding health and wellness shopping experience for customers, with safety and regulatory adherence at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 1 year vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership duties; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to give and take direction within a team.
• Maintain department housekeeping and adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and reaching heights as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Vitamin/HBA team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Lead a team to brainstorm and deliver high-quality products and service for customers.
• Ensure customers receive the best service with vitamins, supplements, and health/beauty products while providing guidance without prescribing.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating the Vitamin team.
• Unload and sort store deliveries and ensure adherence to safety guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of vitamins and health products to assist customers.
• Foster a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
