Job summary

The State of Indiana, through the Indiana Department of Health, Vital Records Division, seeks an Outreach & Data Quality Supervisor to oversee vital records accuracy and compliance across birth, death, and fetal death registrations.

The role provides supervision to 2–3 outreach coordinators, manages data review workflows, and coordinates statewide training to ensure adherence to state and CDC requirements.

Qualifications

• Specialized knowledge of vital records program area, pertinent rules and regulations, and applicable legislation.
• Ability to research, analyze, and compile information related to program area.
• Ability to communicate effectively and operate in group decision-making processes.
• Specialized knowledge of accounting and budgeting.
• Tact and professionalism in dealing with agency personnel and the public.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accuracy and completeness of birth, death, and fetal death registrations.
• Provide direct oversight to 2–3 outreach coordinators.
• Manage data review processes within the team.
• Coordinate statewide training efforts.
• Ensure regulatory standards are met and aligned with state and CDC requirements.
