Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage certification processes within the Vital Records Unit.

• Supervise hiring practices for management-level staff within the unit.
• Lead training and development initiatives for team members and supervisors.
• Develop and manage work plans, including assignment distribution and scheduling.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to management teams.
• Implement progressive discipline when necessary, per policy.
• Make sound decisions to resolve operational and personnel issues.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, verbally and in writing.
• Review work for accuracy and quality; contribute to policy refinement.
