FourLeaf Federal Credit Union is seeking a Temporary VITA Assistant to support our VITA/TCE program during tax season. You will help with appointment scheduling, tax preparation, taxpayer support, and quality reviews, with both virtual and in-person engagement across Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, and New York City.

You'll complete specialized training and IRS tax law certification, prepare returns from interview notes and documents, and coordinate with intake representatives and tax preparers to

Qualificações

• Completion of specialized VITA/TCE training and IRS tax law certification.
• Ability to schedule appointments and assist with tax preparation.
• Willingness to travel to partner locations across Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, and New York City.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule in-person or virtual appointments and document interactions.
• Provide virtual support via video appointments and verify taxpayer identities.
• Prepare tax returns using interview notes and tax documents.
• Conduct quality reviews of completed tax returns and email IRS e-file authorization forms to taxpayers.
• Support VITA teams at partner locations across Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, and NYC.
