Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a team-oriented Quality Inspector to perform visual inspections of metal stampings and package parts according to customer and internal standards. The role includes referencing Plex production orders, recording inspection data, and supporting other production tasks on a 40-hour Y shift based at Plant 4 in Holland, MI.

You will operate packing and inspection duties, use Plex to verify processes, and maintain quality and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform duties.
• Six-month manufacturing experience preferred.
• Demonstrates accuracy, reliability, and integrity in work.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial visual quality inspections of metal stampings and pack parts per instructions.
• Refer to production orders in Plex and weld product per JES.
• Load/unload and move parts up to 60 lbs; assist with heavier objects.
• Complete on-line inspection sheets and ensure gage requirements are met.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and participate in cross-training as needed.
