Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Holland, MI is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform initial visual inspections of metal stampings and efficiently package parts for delivery to customers. You will record inspection data in the Plex system and support daily production tasks while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires reading, writing, and speaking English, a High School diploma, and ideally six months of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to safely perform duties.
• Six-month manufacturing experience preferred.
• Has high standards of performance, is thorough and reliable, and demonstrates integrity.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial visual quality inspections of metal stampings and packs parts accordingly.
• Records inspection data in the Plex ERP system and supports general production activities.
• Loads/unloads and moves items up to 60 pounds; follows packing and labeling instructions.
• References production orders in Plex to weld product per Job Element Sheet (JES).
• Completes paperwork and hourly count boards and maintains clean, safe work area.
• Cross-trains on various work centers and supports meeting daily/weekly production requirements.
