Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months quality experience; strong attention to detail.
• Ability to use quality inspection tools and various gauges.
• Must be able to read and interpret work instructions and job element sheets.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and gauge raw or welded parts according to operator checklist to ensure parts are within customer specifications.
• Verify first piece inspection and approval has been completed according to the first-piece approval process.
• Support containment when quality failures occur to prevent defects from shipping.
• Ensure parts are packed according to packaging instructions to meet customer requirements.
• Perform daily Layered Process Audits to ensure quality processes are followed.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the work area; perform housekeeping duties.
