Job summary

CHANEL, Inc. seeks a Visual Merchandising Associate for South Coast Plaza to uphold the brand image on the boutique floor and elevate the client experience. You will report to the Boutique Director with a dotted line to the Regional VM Manager.

Responsibilities include expediting sales flow, supporting floor moves and launches, updating VM documentation, and collaborating with store teams. A flexible schedule with late nights and some holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Basic knowledge of retail operations, display and merchandising.
• Experience in basic computer software and digital photography.
• Minimum associate degree, preferably in a Fashion related major.
• Ability to work on a ladder; lift 30–40 lb.
• Flexible schedule with late nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Expedite the selling process by being available to change mannequins and replenish items on the selling floor.
• Serve as the VM Lead contact when not available and assist during corporate holidays and weekends.
• Support Operations with floor moves and collection launches, including labeling items.
• Update digital photo files for VM maintenance as changes are made.
• Maintain current documentation of window items (SKU, price, size) for selling teams.
• Assist in events, sales, seasonal installs and other business-driving initiatives in the Boutique.
• Communicate effectively with boutique selling teams and management.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
