Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries seeks a hands-on Visual Merchandiser to design and implement engaging store displays, layouts, and audio elements under Visual Leadership. You’ll help transition seasonal products and ensure merchandise aligns with brand standards to maximize sell-through.

The role requires at least 2 years of visual merchandising experience in retail, preferably with home furnishings, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of visual merchandising experience in retail (home furnishings preferred).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and transport loads up to 100 lbs with/without accommodation.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Implement a visual merchandising strategy to support sales and financial objectives.
• Execute displays and coordinate layout plans for furniture, lighting, and accessories; transition seasonal products.
• Remerchandise displays, signage, POS, and showroom areas to maximize product sell-through; communicate with Visual leadership.
• Maintain store interior and exterior appearance; coordinate repairs with management and warehouse staff.
• Unpack and tag accessory merchandise; coordinate showroom placement and participate in bi-annual inventory.
• Adhere to visual merchandising standards and ensure AV elements comply with brand guidelines.
