Job summary

Ashley Furniture seeks a Store Visual Merchandiser to craft engaging displays and layout interiors that elevate the shopping experience. You will implement merchandising strategies, coordinate furniture and lighting, and refresh signage to support sales objectives.

With 2 years of retail visual merchandising experience and a preferred associate degree in interior design, you will train and guide staff, maintain store aesthetics, and help optimize seasonal transitions across the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• 2 years of retail store visual merchandising experience.
• Associate degree in interior design or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift objects over 50 lbs and handle loads up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Create visually engaging store displays and interior layouts.
• Coordinate furniture, lighting and accessory layouts under Visual Leadership.
• Remerchandise displays, signage, and POS areas to maximize sell-through.
• Maintain store appearance and assist with repairs and seasonal transitions.
• Tag merchandise, manage showroom placement, and participate in inventory.
• Adhere to visual merchandising standards and communicate with staff.
• Develop product knowledge and stay current with fashion trends.
• Mentor staff on merchandising basics and visual standards.
• Coordinate with store manager on tasks, visuals, and incoming products.
