Job summary

American Girl, a premium brand and subsidiary of Mattel, is seeking a Visual Merchandiser for the Chicago flagship. You will execute display changes, planograms, and product launches to maintain high visual standards.

You will work with the Visual Leadership Team to create dynamic displays with dolls and products, ensuring floor sets align with brand direction. 1–2 years in retail merchandising and knowledge of visual principles preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of successful work experience in retail merchandising or related field.
• Knowledge of general visual principles required with emphasis on construction and detail.
• Manual skills in doll styling, straight blade cutting, and minor assembly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Visual Leadership Team in display window changes, merchandise changes, planogram layouts, and graphic changes.
• Create dynamic displays using dolls and complementary product; maintain product knowledge.
• Maintain store visual and merchandising standards aligned with brand vision.
