Job summary

Mattel's American Girl retail store is seeking a Merchandising Associate to execute visual standards on the showroom floor. You will support new product launches, seasonal floor sets, and maintain product displays to align with brand guidelines.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years in retail merchandising, strong customer service, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. Doll styling and minor assembly skills are a plus as you help bring displays to life.

Qualifications

1–2 years of successful work experience in retail merchandising, or related field with customer service experience.
Manual skills in doll styling, straight blade cutting, and minor assembly, preferred.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Assist visual merchandising manager in executing display window changes, merchandise changes and planogram layouts.
Create dynamic displays using dolls and complementary product; keep current on product knowledge.
Troubleshoot when product availability is an issue and prioritize tasks based on business needs.
Maintain the store's visual and merchandising standards in line with the brand vision.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, management, and corporate partners; provide customer assistance as needed.
Stock merchandise when needed.
