Job summary

American Girl in Chicago is seeking a Seasonal Visual Merchandiser to support dynamic floor sets, product launches, and daily displays at our flagship store. You will work with the Visual Manager to maintain high visual standards, assist with planograms and window changes, and stock merchandise as needed while embracing a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in retail merchandising or related field.
Knowledge of visual principles with attention to detail.
Manual doll styling, straight blade cutting, and minor assembly preferred.
Ability to work independently and quickly within a team.
Must be able to lift and push a minimum of 50 pounds.
Flexible schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Assist Visual Leadership Team with display window and planogram changes.
Create dynamic displays using dolls and complementary product; maintain product knowledge.
Prioritize tasks based on business needs and handle product availability issues.
Maintain store visual and merchandising standards aligned with brand vision.
Develop positive relationships with staff, management and partners; assist customers as needed.
Stock merchandise when required.
