Job summary

Panasonic Energy of North America in Nevada is seeking a Technician I to maintain production machinery through preventative maintenance and hands-on troubleshooting, with responsibilities spanning minor repairs and operating as an operator when needed.

This role requires at least basic high school education, English proficiency, and up to 2 years of production experience; familiarity with MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language.
• Preferred: 2 years of production or manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Check settings, gauge readings, and sensors to keep machines within specs.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines per requirements.
• Observe machines for abnormalities and respond to issues.
• Tighten bolts, inspect belts and adjust tensions as needed.
• Perform simple machinist duties: cleaning, lubrication, oil changes, part swaps.
• Restore machines to proper operating functions and make adjustments.
• Recover error codes and operate with various hand/power tools.
• Report faults to supervision and support process improvements.
