Job summary

Norman Rockwell Museum at Stockbridge is seeking a part-time Museum Associate to work in Visitor Services and the Museum Store. You will greet guests, sell experiences, handle POS transactions, and assist with memberships while providing a welcoming visitor experience on a 3-day schedule that includes one weekend day.

Responsibilities include answering phones, processing bookings, café duties, and helping during events. The role requires strong communication and comfort with technology.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, provide orientations and recommendations.
• Sell experiences (Studio, Gallery, Tours) and use POS/reservation systems.
• Answer phones and assist with online bookings.
• Open and close duties.
• Assist with café cashiering and health/safety practices.
• Restock merchandise and maintain attractive displays.
• Explain membership benefits to visitors.
• Support museum events and operations, including safety policies.
