Job summary

Visit Mason City is seeking a friendly Visitor Services Coordinator for the Mason City Welcome Center. You will greet visitors, share information about local attractions, and connect guests with community resources.

The role includes administrative support to Visit Mason City and Main Street Mason City, plus marketing and outreach tasks. You will help coordinate events, manage brochures and gift materials, supervise volunteers, and promote downtown Mason City.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; related post-secondary education preferred.
• Experience in customer service, tourism, hospitality, or retail is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and provide accurate information about local attractions, events, and services.
• Answer phones and direct inquiries to appropriate team members.
• Support the Executive Director and staff with administrative tasks and materials.
• Coordinate volunteer activities, events, and community outreach.
• Assist with brochures, visitor resources, and marketing materials.
