Job summary

Jericho Project is seeking a Program Director to oversee the daily operations of Fordham Village in the Bronx. The role requires strong leadership to supervise staff, ensure ongoing case management, and audit client records. Experience with mental illness, substance use histories, and supportive housing is preferred.

Compensation ranges from $85,000 to $90,000 annually. The director will lead service delivery, ensure compliance with funder requirements, and manage the site’s budget while

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field.
• At least five years of experience in substance abuse, mental health, and/or homelessness.
• Computer literacy and ability to manage data and reporting.
• Proven supervisory skills with at least three years of supervisory experience.
• Understanding of Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, Housing First & Supported Employment modalities.”
• Bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall quality and provision of services for residents.
• Provide leadership and vision at the site.
• Participate in hiring, training, and supervision of program staff.
• Develop and evaluate program services and activities.
• Ensure services are accessible and in line with Housing First and trauma-informed care.
• Use data to drive program goals, report to leadership, and address trends.
• Coordinate with Building Operations and other departments to support tenant stability.
• Maintain site budget within contractual guidelines.
