Job summary

Jericho Project in New York seeks a Program Director for the Fordham Village site to lead daily operations and supervise staff, ensuring high-quality case management for residents with mental illness and substance use histories. The position reports to the Deputy Chief, is exempt, and offers a salary range of $85,000 to $90,000 annually.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services or related field.
At least five years’ experience in substance abuse, mental health, and/or homelessness.
Must be computer literate.
Must have at least three years of supervisory experience.
Superior written and verbal skills.
Understanding of Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, Housing First & Supported Employment modalities.
Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee overall quality and provision of services to residents.
Provide leadership and vision at the site.
Participate in hiring, training, supervising, and developing program team with accountability for achieving outcomes for residents and funder requirements.
Responsible for program development, implementation, coordination and evaluation.
Ensure services are accessible and aligned with Housing First including Harm Reduction and Trauma-Informed Care.
