Boys to Men Mentoring, based in San Diego County, is seeking a visionary CEO to guide growth from 40 to 100 school districts while strengthening partnerships with schools, donors, and community partners. The CEO will work closely with co-founders during a transition period to ensure continuity of mission and impact.

• Senior leadership experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven org.
• Proven fundraising, donor development, and partnership building.
• Experience working with a Board of Directors and setting strategy.
• Strong financial, operational, and people leadership abilities.
• Commitment to youth development, mentoring, and community impact.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsabilités

• Strategic Leadership & Organizational Growth: Develop and execute the organization's strategic vision and long‑term growth plan.
• Lead expansion from 40 school districts to 100 across San Diego County.
• Identify opportunities for programs, partnerships, funding, and increased impact.
• Establish measurable goals, monitor progress, and ensure accountability.
• Build a collaborative, mission‑focused culture for sustainable growth.
• Fundraising & Financial Sustainability: Lead a comprehensive fundraising strategy with the Board and development team.
• Cultivate relationships with major donors, foundations, corporations, and sponsors.
• Expand and diversify revenue through individual giving, grants, and partnerships.
• Engage the Board in fundraising and community outreach.
• Oversee budgeting and financial planning to ensure long‑term sustainability.
• Program Leadership & Impact: Ensure programs align with mission and mentoring model.
• Support mentor recruitment, training, engagement, and retention.
• Strengthen relationships with schools and community partners.
• Establish meaningful measures of program outcomes and impact.
• Communicate results and impact to donors and the community.
• Board & Organizational Leadership: Maintain a strong, transparent relationship with the Board.
• Support governance, fiduciary, and ambassadorial responsibilities.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a talented staff.
• Oversee operations and systems for effective performance and expansion.
• Facilitate a smooth leadership transition from co-founders.
