Qualifications

• At least ten years of executive-level leadership in complex environments with 250+ employees and change management experience.
• Ability to internalize and communicate strategy and translate it into data-driven decisions.
• Proven track record of increasing earned and contributed revenue from diverse sources.
• Experience growing organizations through mergers, partnerships, and new services.
• Strong leadership to build diverse teams and lead through change with collaboration.
• Proven relationships with government, foundations, and business partners.
• Experience in the nonprofit/social service sector.
• Analytical thinker who can synthesize input into well-organized plans.
• Decisive, resourceful leader who empowers staff and board.
• Strong communicator with integrity and trust-building.
• Negotiator who seeks win-win outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with agency history, culture, programs rooted in Catholic teaching; build relationships with Board and teams.
• Foster inclusivity, trust, cooperation, and staff development.
• Inspire Senior Leadership Team; set goals and ensure accountability.
• Guide the agency through cultural transitions with compassion and conviction.
• Ensure operations are efficient; set priorities and use data to drive decisions.
• Develop and empower the team; ensure succession planning.
• Maintain CCSCC’s fiscal health with CFO, ensure sustainable funding and long-term planning.
• Ensure annual budget aligns with Board-approved plans and transparency.
• With CHRO, promote efficacy, staff development, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Oversee technology infrastructure to support staff and clients.
• Champion high-quality programming and manage program portfolio risks.
• Keep the organization focused and ready to course-correct with data.
• Identify unmet needs and upgrade programs, embracing innovation.
• Foster service orientation and staff training on new approaches.
• Drive fundraising with the Chief Development Officer; build donor relationships.
• Develop partnerships with major donors, foundations, and government.
• Proactively advocate for CCSCC clients with policymakers; influence funding.
• Engage Board in advance of CCSCC’s activities and priorities.
• Recruit new Board members aligned with CCSCC’s needs and mission.
• Act as President of Charities Housing’s Board; oversee development strategies.
