Job summary

Coro Southern California seeks a Director of Development and Communications to design and lead fundraising and communications strategies across the organization. You will oversee grants, major gifts, events, donor cultivation, and reporting to demonstrate impact.

The role reports to the President and CEO and coordinates with marketing and external contractors to advance Coro's mission in Southern California.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree required and experience in fundraising and communications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential.
• Proven ability to manage multiple donor relationships and campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all fundraising initiatives including grants, major gifts, campaigns, events, and in-kind contributions.
• Lead grant writing efforts with program teams and CEO.
• Plan and execute fundraising events such as Galas and donor engagements.
• Identify prospective donors and partners; cultivate and steward relationships.
• Coordinate annual reporting and impact reports across departments.
• Design and implement fundraising campaigns and donor communications.
