Job summary

Cornea Research Foundation of America seeks a dynamic fundraising leader to advance medical research and education. Reporting to the Executive Director, you’ll shape and execute an annual fundraising plan, cultivate donors, and manage our donor database while partnering with the Board.

You’ll also tell our story through compelling communications, plan events, and help grow support for sight-restoring programs. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in fundraising and a passion for our mission.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional fundraising experience, including donor database management.
• Excellent writing and speaking skills, and the strategic sense to turn goals into a plan.
• A bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Genuine enthusiasm for work that gives people back their sight.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute an annual fundraising plan that fuels our medical research and educational programs
• Cultivate and steward donors, and manage our donor database for gift tracking and outreach
• Partner with the Board to engage stakeholders and report on fundraising progress
• Plan and lead fundraising and educational events
• Create compelling communications, including newsletters, educational materials, and our annual report
