Job summary

Perrigo seeks a Vision Engineer to provide technical and compliance support for pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging operations, leading automation projects across site locations. You will explore innovative solutions to meet business needs while maintaining high safety and service standards.

The role involves cGMP compliance, collaboration with engineering, maintenance, IT, and Scheduling, and delivering improvements to machine operability, data tracking, and efficiency in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 3+ years working with and troubleshooting Visions Systems.
• Read and understand drawings, flowcharts, schematics related to system design documentation.
• Lean & Six Sigma knowledge preferred; continuous improvement experience.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Experience with FDA regulated environments and cGMP.

Responsibilities

• Support equipment purchases/modifications to improve plant productivity.
• Ensure cGMP compliance during design, specification, validation, and use of equipment systems.
• Manage capital/expense projects with Operations/Engineering within scope and budget.
• Participate in change management to assess validation status of control systems.
• Support CAPA activities and implement new technology to solve problems.
• Identify opportunities to improve production processes and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, IT, and scheduling to implement changes.
