Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in packaging/manufacturing.
• Experience programming Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs (RSLogix500, Studio5000).
• Experience with industrial vision systems (barcode scanning, OCR, label presence).
• Familiarity with change control and validation processes.
• Excellent organizational and multi-project management abilities.
• Good cross-functional communication and interaction with external partners.
• Ability to work from ladders/lifts and perform heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during third-shift operations, including emergency response and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, operations, and IT teams to resolve automation and vision system issues.
• Lead and support system upgrades to enhance reliability, efficiency, and safety.
• Participate in change management activities and maintain accurate documentation of system modifications.
• Review and validate equipment specifications to ensure compliance with site standards.
• Be available for overtime and after-hours support as needed.
