Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Field Deployment Project Manager to own and deliver large-scale camera and vision-system installations across multi-site environments. You will plan architecture, coordinate field operations, manage schedules, and drive quality from pre-sale engagement through site completion in Washington, DC.

The role requires 7+ years of complex deployments, strong vendor management, IP/analog camera systems, ONVIF, TCP/IP, and cloud VMS knowledge.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing complex, multi-site deployments involving wired and wireless technology infrastructure, networking, and camera systems.
• Experience overseeing vendors and field installation teams.
• Experience with system design validation, camera placement, cabling, coverage, and lighting.
• Familiarity with licensing requirements and compliance for security installations.
• Domain experience in retail, QSR, hospitality, or similar distributed environments.

Responsibilities

• Own machine vision deployment strategy and lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale camera projects.
• Plan project architecture, manage resources, coordinate field operations, and report status.
• Oversee day-to-day field operations, risks, escalations, and vendor performance.
• Develop training materials for technicians, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with Product and Engineering on customer discovery and solution improvements.
• Maintain regular attendance and work nights/weekends as needed.
