Job summary

Vision Markets GmbH is seeking a Field Applications Engineer specialized in vision systems to support customers across North America remotely. You will apply deep knowledge of CMOS image sensors, FPGAs, and imaging SoCs to design and optimize imaging solutions.

Responsibilities include pre/post‑sales support, system integration, and customer training, with opportunities to travel within NA. A strong technical base and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years in field applications engineering or similar, focusing on vision systems.
• Extensive knowledge of CMOS image sensors, FPGAs, and imaging SoCs.
• Strong problem‑solving and remote customer-facing skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre‑ and post‑sales technical support for vision systems and imaging components.
• Assist customers with system integration, troubleshooting, and optimization of imaging solutions.
• Conduct on‑site and remote technical training for customers and partners.
• Develop tailored applications with customers and support evaluation phases.
• Maintain knowledge of product portfolio and act as liaison between customers and internal teams.
• Support sales by identifying opportunities and delivering technical demonstrations.
