Job summary

Scale AI, based in Washington, DC, is seeking an Engagement Manager (Computer Vision) for the public sector to lead delivery of CV workflows for a national security customer. You will own or support account plans, manage day-to-day execution, and ensure outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting.

The role blends program leadership, customer relationships, and technical fluency with contract awareness, requiring onsite presence in the DMV area up to 4 days per week

Qualifications

• Technical background in CS, economics, statistics or engineering.
• 3+ years in stakeholder management or customer-facing roles delivering enterprise-scale applications.
• Deep understanding of ML operations process.
• Track record of analytics-driven problem solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to be onsite up to 4 days/week in the DMV area and travel ≥25%.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships from executive to end user.
• Scope computer vision use cases with Scale’s engineering team.
• Lead or support cross-functional project teams to deliver AI/ML objectives.
• Proactively identify customer needs and pain points to ensure success.
• Oversee onboarding and successful implementation of customer accounts.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and other public sector teams to tailor AI systems.
