Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar is seeking a General Manager to lead operations at a Michigan location. The GM reports to the Area Director and oversees management and hourly team members, focusing on guest experience, service standards, safety, and financial performance.

The role requires Apple II Management training completion, and prior AGM or unit GM experience with a similar organization. Strong leadership and budgeting skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management or related discipline
• Equivalent professional experience considered for the role
• Minimum 7+ years of multi-unit restaurant management experience (national chain preferred)

Responsibilities

• Oversees operational and financial performance and human capital at their location
• Manages restaurant environment to ensure prompt, friendly service and guest satisfaction
• Maintains compliance with company policies, safety, sanitation and budgeting
• Develops and coaches management team; conducts regular performance reviews
• Ensures staffing levels, training, scheduling, and labor cost control
• Drives community engagement and promotional activities to increase sales
