Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar in Michigan seeks a General Manager to oversee operations, financial performance and people at a single location. You will lead Managers and hourly TEAM Members, drive guest satisfaction, and align with core values and the TSFR Roadmap.

Candidates should have AGM or equivalent multi-unit leadership, Apple II training, and a proven record of achieving business goals with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 7+ years of multi-unit restaurant management with direct P&L accountability; national chain preferred.
• Assistant General Manager (AGM) or prior Unit General Manager experience with a similar organization.
• Completion of Apple II Management training.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operational and financial performance and human capital at their location.
• Ensures prompt, friendly service according to Company guidelines.
• Maintains inventory levels and product presentation to Company standards.
• Develops staff through training, monthly/biannual evaluations and performance feedback.
• Schedules TEAM Members to meet sales demands and maintains safety programs.
• Manages recruitment, onboarding and performance reviews for managers and TEAM Members.
• Maintains restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation; controls budgets and asset management.
