Job summary

Qualifications

• Option 1: Completion of 2 or more years of college.
• Option 2: 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
• Option 3: 2 years' general work experience, including 1 year's optical experience and high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Meets eligibility requirements to work in the Vision Center, including minimum age of 18, certification, registration, licensure, and other qualifications required by company policy and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead department sales growth through effective merchandising, pricing accuracy, and inventory oversight.
• Forecast sales trends and align assortments with customer needs and local demographics.
• Monitor prices and adjust strategies to maintain market relevance and hit financial targets.
• Drive customer service excellence and resolve inquiries promptly under supervision.
• Oversee optical measurements, fittings, and contact lens education with safety and HIPAA compliance.
• Lead, coach, and develop the optical team and ensure credential renewals and training.
• Coordinate with labs, suppliers, and optometrists to ensure timely order processing and QA.
