Job summary

Walmart Vision Center is seeking a team member to drive sales through strong merchandising, pricing, and inventory management while delivering excellent customer service. The role involves guiding Associates, maintaining product quality, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.

You will work to meet customer needs, support community-involved initiatives, and participate in ongoing training and development within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience OR 2 years' general work experience including 1 year's optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation including accurate and competitive pricing proper signing and instock and inventory levels budgeting and forecasting sales and assessing economic trends and community needs.
• Oversees customer service approaches to ensure MemberCustomer needs and issues are resolved within Company guidelines.
• Ensures compliance with Company policies, asset protection, safety controls, and quality assurance reviews; develops action plans to improve performance.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for Associates in the Vision Center, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing staff.
