Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Part-Time Optometric Technician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and support the optometrist in patient care. You will greet patients, assist with pre-exam testing and data entry, and help link the doctor and retail functions.

Provide accurate records, maintain HIPAA compliance, and support inventory in a fast-paced optical environment. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year strong customer service skills (internal/external).
• Leadership skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Strong communicator and listener with problem solving and organizational abilities.
• Ability to assess priorities and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and display a professional image.
• Answer telephone in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Assist the optometrist during eye examinations and prepare patients.
• Review prescriptions and patient information, consult when necessary.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and organize patient data.
• Support inventory and cleaning of equipment; ensure a safe work environment.
