Job summary

Health Partners of Western Ohio is seeking an Optometric Technician to support exam processes and patient care. You will perform preliminary testing, assist with comprehensive exams, help with eyewear selection and dispensing, and coordinate remote optometry visits.

You will maintain equipment, document patient information in the EMR, and collaborate with the Optometrist, Optician, and local schools to extend vision services to the community.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of in-house training.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary testing: Auto-refraction, intra-ocular pressure, vision testing.
• Assist with comprehensive exams and eyewear selection.
• Support dispensing of glasses and coordination of remote visits.
• Maintain equipment and document in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with Optometrist, Optician and schools to provide vision services.
