Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optometric Technician to support physicians in delivering a world class Total Patient Experience. You will perform initial tests with optical equipment to prepare patients for exams.

The role emphasizes patient-focused service, HIPAA compliance, and teamwork, with opportunities to operate advanced diagnostic devices and contribute to a smooth clinical workflow.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience and ophthalmic experience preferred.
• At least 1 year in a role interacting with customers or patients.
• Background check must be favorable as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Total Patient Experience and provide medical support to patients.
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies.
• Respect patients' and doctors' time by maintaining efficient scheduling.
• Operate testing equipment: lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, OCT.
• Follow testing scripts and clean exam equipment regularly.
• Interact professionally with all staff and perform general office duties as assigned.
