Health Partners of Western Ohio is seeking a skilled Optician to join our team in providing eyewear and vision services. You will fit and dispense eyeglasses, fill contact lens prescriptions, and educate patients on proper wear and care.

The role requires a state optician license and in-house training completion, with strong customer service and team collaboration. Expect a full-time schedule, driving to community sites, and participation in value-based care initiatives.

Qualifications

• State license or certification to practice as an Optician is required.
• Successful completion of in-house training.

Responsibilities

• Fit, adjust, and dispense eyeglasses with care and precision.
• Fill contact lens prescriptions from Optometrists or Ophthalmologists.
• Take accurate measurements for a perfect fit.
• Educate patients on wearing and caring for glasses and lenses.
• Order and dispense glasses; maintain patient records and insurance.
