Target Optical is seeking a Full-Time Store Manager in Madison, WI to lead a team of high-performing associates and deliver an outstanding guest experience. You will coach, schedule, and develop staff, ensuring guest-ready service and brand standards across all interactions.

Responsibilities include payroll, talent development, inventory control, and collaboration with optical doctors where applicable. A strong sales mindset and leadership presence are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years experience in customer service or retail.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and drive for results.
• Strong selling and customer service skills.
• Recruiting, selection and development of talent.
• Ability to motivate and influence others.
• Preference for Opticianry license or ABO certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high performing team to deliver guest experience.
• Set expectations for Guest Ready and store readiness.
• Schedule staff based on traffic and forecast.
• Oversee payroll and new hires processing.
• Manage relationships with optical doctors where applicable.
• Ensure store presentation and promotions are executed.
• Recruit and maintain a talent bench for coverage.
• Provide performance reviews and coaching regularly.
• Control shrink and maintain store safety and standards.
