Job summary

Shopko Optical in Oshkosh, Wisconsin seeks an Optical Manager to lead our team and drive sales, patient care and store performance. You will supervise dispensing eyewear, set goals, and collaborate with the Optometrist to achieve business results and high patient satisfaction.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, merchandising execution and adherence to policies while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• ABO/Shopko OCE Certification required within 12 months of hire/promotion.
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• 3 years of leadership experience or equivalent management experience with strong customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead optical team to maximize sales, profit and customer service objectives.
• Supervise and perform optical operations including dispensing eyewear and patient care.
• Hire, train, coach and manage performance of team.
• Work with Optometrist to drive business results and patient care.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and federal/state laws.
