Job summary

Sight360 is seeking an Eye Care Professional to engage with customers daily, determine lifestyle needs, and recommend frames, lenses, and contact lenses. You will take measurements, assist with frame selection, and ensure proper wear and care.

Travel between clinic locations may be required. Responsibilities include collecting prescriptions, scheduling appointments, guiding patients, and performing basic optical tasks with equipment like lensometers and pupillometers.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Optical experience not required but helpful.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient’s prescription from ophthalmologist or optometrist.
• Gather patient’s information including vision and medical insurance information.
• Schedule, confirm and maintain appointments.
• Recommend frames, lenses and products suitable for patient’s style, face and specifications.
• Adjust and fit frames according to prescription and patient’s specifications.
• Prepare and submit orders to the proper lab for manufacturing.
• Use equipment such as lensometer, auto refractor, pupilometer, calipers and hand tools.
• Assist with frame inventory and office supplies.
• Teach patients how to wear and care for eyewear and contact lenses.
• Repair or replace broken frames.
• Administrative duties such as filing and following up on orders.
