Job summary

Sight360 is seeking an Eye Care Professional to assist patients in selecting eyewear, obtain prescriptions, and coordinate frame and lens fitting across clinic locations. The role includes measuring, fit, and adjusting glasses, troubleshooting vision concerns, and teaching customers how to wear and care for eyeglasses and contact lenses.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Optical experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient’s prescription from ophthalmologist or optometrist.
• Gather patient’s information including vision and medical insurance information.
• Schedule, confirm and maintain appointments.
• Recommend frames, lenses and products for the patient’s style and specifications.
• Adjust and fit frames according to prescription and facial features.
• Prepare and submit orders to the lab for manufacturing.
• Use optical instruments such as lensometer and auto refractor.
• Assist with frame and contact lens inventory and office supplies.
• Teach patients how to wear and care for eyewear and contacts.
• Repair or replace broken frames.
• Perform administrative duties such as filing and following up on orders.
