Job summary

LensCrafters in Machesney Park, IL is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional eye-care experiences. You will use prescriptions to suggest lenses, assist customers with frame choices and coordinate measurements with the Optician.

Maintain store presentation and uphold a welcoming, inclusive environment for all guests. Ideal candidates have 1+ years in retail or customer service, familiarity with POS systems, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in retail or customer service.
• Familiar with POS systems, computers and basic math.
• Ability to learn new technology quickly with accuracy.
• Strong sales drive and accountability for results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales plan and company objectives through existing and new customers.
• Use prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assist customers in frame selection and coordinate with measurements.
• Conduct measurements using optical tools and consult with an Optician.
• Maintain a positive store environment and professional relations with staff and customers.
• Keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
