Job summary

Luxottica LensCrafters in the Chicago area is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver outstanding eye-care and eyewear experiences to every customer. You will actively meet sales plans by nurturing existing relationships and building new ones.

Using patient prescriptions, you will recommend lenses and coatings, assist with frame selection and ensure accurate measurements with optical tools, collaborating with the Optician as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers and calculators.
• Embrace new technology with high level of accuracy.
• Ability to sell through use of sales skills and accountability for sales results.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Self-motivator with ability to multi-task in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by cultivating existing customers and building new ones.
• Utilize prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assist customers in frame selection and coordinate measurements with optical data.
• Take measurements using optical tools and consult with the Optician as needed.
• Contribute to a positive store environment and foster professional relationships with peers, management, doctors and staff.
• Maintain displays and inventory in a clean, attractive and organized state.
• Promote inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
