Job summary

LensCrafters, part of Luxottica, is seeking a Sales Associate in Joliet, IL to deliver exceptional eye-care experiences and drive sales. You will assist customers with frame and lens choices, take precise measurements, and coordinate with the Optician to ensure a perfect vision solution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers & calculators with basic phone and math skills.
• Embrace new technology and adapt with accuracy.
• Ability to sell with sales skills and strive to meet goals.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Self-motivated, able to multi-task in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives by nurturing existing customers and building new relationships.
• Uses optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assists patients in frame selection and coordinates frames with measurements.
• Conducts measurements using optical tools and consults with an Optician as needed.
• Contributes to a positive store environment and builds professional relationships with staff and doctors.
• Maintains store appearance, displays, and inventory organization.
