Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an Assistant Manager to act as a leader in the absence of the Store Manager and to drive key performance metrics. You will partner with the store management team to lead staff, maintain store standards, and deliver exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires strong selling skills, English proficiency, and a solid background in retail operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of management/supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge of retail operations, processes & policies.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers & calculators.
• Must have strong command of English for written and oral communication.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Demonstrated high level of selling skills.
• Proven ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality and improvement to exceed KPIs: sales, conversion, customer count, and profitability.
• Understands retail business and market competition to drive results.
• Supports store business plans to maximize sales and profit.
• Partner with store manager to lead and develop the team.
• Gives clear, constructive feedback and supports development.
• Follows visual directives and maintains store appearance.
• Maintains positive relationships with doctors and store staff.
• Ensures policy compliance and handles administrative duties.
• Works a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
