Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external)
• Knowledge of current fashion trends
• Strong communicator and listener
• Problem solving ability
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators
• Sales skills
• Strong basic math skills
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise

Responsibilities

• Greets customers within 30 seconds and assists promptly.
• Answers telephone promptly in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Explains all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information; identifies special needs with team.
• Assists customers in selecting frames and lenses suited for vision and lifestyle.
• Maintains and files patient records in HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Places contact lens orders, processes shipments and submits invoices.
• Operates the POS system accurately and collects payments securely.
• Explains processing times and delivery expectations.
• Keeps store displays aligned with brand guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Responds to promotions with staff communications and PO materials.
